team work, in which the director of the unit is the co-ordinator with the final respon–
sibility. The secret of teamwork is that every member of the team must consider his
or her job as the most important but at the same time must respect the work of the
other members of the team, be they the medical officer in charge of the case or an orderly.
TEACHING
For many years, this Centre has been engaged in teaching undergraduates and post–
graduates of the medical profession as well as of the nursing, physiotherapy and occu–
pational therapy professions and welfare officers, and this activity has increased in
recent years.
