Jonathan is a personal injury solicitor with a law firm in South Manchester. He is also a qualified mediator with an interest in mediating disputes arising out of the Equality Act. Jonathan became tetraplegic after he broke his neck diving into the shallow end of a swimming pool at the age of 14. He read History and then Law at university. After qualifying as a solicitor, the majority of his work is with those sustaining serious injuries and in view of his own background he has a particular interest in personal injury claims arising out of a spinal cord injury. Jonathan is a strong advocate for those living with a disability. He is a trustee of the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) and he was SIA Chair from 2011- 2014. Jonathan believes education is the key to supporting all those working with spinal cord injured people and he has delivered presentations and contributed to a variety of conferences talking about care and support for those living with spinal cord injury.
